6. AI-Powered Features

6.1 ReefIQ Assistant (Text and Voice)

The ReefIQ Assistant provides general reef aquarium guidance powered by OpenAI. Key terms:

6.2 ICP Report Analysis

When you upload an ICP (water analysis) report PDF, the document is processed by OpenAI's GPT API to extract and analyze parameters. The uploaded PDF and analysis results are stored under your account.

6.3 Health Reports

Health reports are generated by sending your tank data (parameters, livestock, journal entries) to OpenAI's GPT API. Reports are AI-generated assessments and are advisory only.

6.4 Journal AI Correlations

Journal entries may be analyzed by OpenAI's GPT API to identify correlations between your actions and tank parameter changes. These correlations are advisory only.

6.5 Disclaimer for All AI Features

BayTech Software is not liable for any outcomes resulting from following AI-generated advice, analysis, or recommendations. AI features use third-party models (OpenAI) that may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate responses. You use AI features at your own risk.

ReefIQ, including its mobile application, firmware, hardware designs, cloud functions, branding, and all related assets, is the intellectual property of BayTech Software. All rights are reserved.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial aquarium management, subject to these Terms.

ReefIQ integrates with third-party services including Firebase (Google), OpenAI, Google Sign-In, and Sign in with Apple. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms:

12. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
